About Me

I am a licensed clinical social worker with experience working with adults and young adults. Currently, I am a candidate in a four-year advanced training program in psychoanalysis. My work is rooted in this psychoanalytic approach, exploring unconscious patterns and past experiences to better understand present challenges. I have experience with depression, anxiety, relationships, family dynamics, substance use, and eating disorders. Additionally, I bring training in evidence-based treatments such as CBT and DBT, as well as PACT Couples Therapy.

My Approach

Therapeutic Options

I am committed to fostering a welcoming and understanding atmosphere. While my perspective is grounded in psychoanalytic theory, I believe that flexibly incorporating a variety of therapeutic modalities offers the most benefit.

For those facing deeply embedded challenges or seeking deeper self-exploration, I offer the option of scheduling two or three sessions per week to enhance the depth of our work. I offer both virtual and in person sessions in Manhattan.

Schedule a free 15-minute consultation and we’ll talk about your goals, questions, and next steps.

Psychotherapy

Psychotherapy provides the space for a profound connection between individuals in service of understanding, safety, and change. Together, we will navigate your current experiences and delve into your past to unravel the source of your challenges. This process should feel grounding and anchored in truth, fostering deeper self-awareness and emotional clarity. It’s through this reflective work that change becomes possible. My style blends the depth of psychoanalytic / psychodynamic therapy with the pragmatism of skills-based approaches. In session we listen for the stories just beneath conscious awareness, and notice how those stories replay in real time - both between us and with others in your daily life.
